Today was The Pirates first talk in primary at church.
It was like trying to get a spiritual moment out of a wet rag which keeps laughing with it’s buddies.
Afterward, Sister Primary Lady asked all the children, “Did you hear what The Pirate was talking about?”
They honestly replied in the negative.
Needless to say after his brief, giggling moment of glory in front of his friends, he is now in his room until dinner.
On the other hand The Princess’ talk was fabulous. It had a little bit of humor, was a fitting story about pioneers, inspired faith and taught about prayer.
I’m grateful to Sister Primary Music Lady who wrote it out for The Princess during sacrament meeting and who also provided us with a picture as visual aid.
