But today it was hard for the child.

I purposely do not spell it right. I am stressing phonemes.
She responds with a scowl, “My name does NOT have an F.”

“Stop it!”

“You are trying to make it sound like an F! Stop it!”

(my lips were tingling)

I think this is funny. Is she serious? VV vs. FF?

And she says, “Uggg” and throws her pencil down.
And inside I am laughing because this is what I have to look forward to. And it’s hilarious.
