JUST WHAT YOU'VE BEEN DYING TO SEE

Sweet Little Gal has a husband and as we drove to the event he said, "When you take a bunch of pain-killers before doing something, you have to second guess what you're doing."

Valid point. How come none of you mentioned that to me earlier?

And in the end Sweet Little Gal was an impressive running machine. And it was a beautiful day. And your music helped. And this is how I managed. . .

I started off with a song Squishy recommended.

It was a good song, but I had a hard time finding my groove.

At mile 2 I still hadn't found my groove and I asked myself,

Uh now why am I really doing this? But I figured at that point it was a little late to be asking, so I declined to answer.

At mile 5 I found my groove.

Apparently it was a slow one.

At mile 7 I had a realization.

Running is monotonous and boring but at least I had my groove.

At mile 9 I lost my groove.

I'm pretty sure I never found it again.

At mile 10 it just got worse.

At mile 11 all I remember is my feet

and that dang sun.

At mile 13 Sweet Little Gal came back toward me smiling,

"You're almost done." She said, "It's just over this bridge!"

At mile 13.1 I saw Mr. Right and my three little bugs.

They were very proud of me.

Me too.

Doesn't it sound just so stinkin' easy?

*I was having the darndest time getting the picture to not look so gritty. The black and white seemed to help it.
