MAUI 1

Picture of the Day
Haleakala Crater (Valley)

Without my bugs around to shoot, a friend recommended I give landscapes a shot.

So today I gave it an honest effort.

It took me a minute, but I started noticing things I wanted to capture.

Like the colors and swooping motions in the Haleakala Crater.

And the motion of the clouds rolling into the crater thru the Kipahulu Gap.

And the contrast of Shifting Sands Trail cutting through the rock.

And the textures.

From Haleakala we could see the ocean below and Big Island.

Nevertheless, I had to get at least one mug shot in there of Mr. Right.
