Yes, The Princess has now been living with us in mortality for nine years.
I only think this is strange because I'm so used to thinking of her as elementary.
Like six-ish.
But 9 isn't so six-ish anymore.
It's almost tween-ish.
So for her not so six-ish, almost tween-ish birthday she told me the theme was ART.
- Invite friends over.
- Let them be crazy with excitement.
- Second guess the whole thing.
- Do candy art.
- Do window art.
- Eat Chex Mix (which is artsy-fartsy because it's a "combination of things")
- Do paper art.
- Do ice-cream sundae art.
- Eat all readily available sugar products.
- Send the spazoids outside with flashlights to run around in the dark until their parents come get them.
