Our neighbors were having a rummage sale. The crowds were using our driveway to turn in and back out of. This kept our bugs in constant confusion all morning.
“Oh someone is here!” Then a second later, “Oh, never mind.”
Or
“Oh look it is Tom’s truck!!!”
Do you know what Tom’s truck looks like?
“No.”
Well it’s not blue, and anyway that’s not a truck…it’s not a man either.
Later The Pixie ran to the window, “Look it is Miss Lilli!”
With her nose pressed against the glass she watched but then sighed, “Oh it is not our Lilli.”
She turned and walked away from the window while saying to anyone who would listen, “It was a Lilli but it was a different Lilli. It was a Lilli we did not know.”
