THREE PIGS AND THEN SOME

If you are in Kindergarten then you get to participate in The Three Piggy Opera.

OK, well, you have to participate in The Three Piggy Opera even if every cell in your body desires to be somewhere else at that exact moment.

The Princess was definately glad to be there but as a consummate actress she maintained her less than enthusiastic posture carefully.

After surviving the opera we were treated to the play version of Tikki Tikki Tembo.

The Princes walked across the stage, took off her piggy ears and sat in her predetermined seat.

For The Play, our Princess was risen from the subterranean levels of the chorus to the grand position of narrator.

Quite an advancement in the Kindergarten world.

Except, and she's going to gasp when she reads this, but Mr. Right and I were secretly worried she would carry her sullen behavior as brooding piggy into her narration. Even her glare at the script fed the suspense of the moment.

While a surly narrator would have offered an interesting interpretation of Tikki Tikki, it was with relief that we heard her open her mouth and speak with clarity, inflection and most of all interest.

She truly is a good actress.

I once even saw her smile.

Bravo!
