Last night The Princess and I put on our Sunday clothes and drove up to Seattle.First we ate dinner.
Then we did a little shopping where I was persuaded to purchase some fuzzy boot slippers for me and a pink sweater with gold rimmed buttons for her. She is very convincing.
We stopped at the deli where she ordered and consummed a chocolate cinnamon roll which wasn't just drizzled with chocolate but slathered with it before being rolled up and baked.
Then we entered the doors of the 5th Avenue theatre.
We sat on red velvet seats and looked at the opulent theatre.
And we watched (she with unsophisticated delight) Ms. Jennifer Lewis perform in Hello Dolly.
Which we're partial too.
