OK so why page 123? Why the fifth sentence? I suppose it makes it rather like an odd adventure but it certainly has the potential of ruining the book (as in Bridgette's case).
Luckily I'm actually reading a book and didn't have to reach for the 1000 Masterpieces of Artwork which is sitting by the TV which no one looks at, but is actually REALLY interesting. At least this way I sound somewhat intelligent.
Unluckily I'm not reading anything profound. I'm cruising through a fluffy, historical-fiction which E. lent me because she knows I like a good, swift read. Ready? Fifth sentence on page 123 of Dark Sky at Dawn by L.C. Lewis...
