Snooping Around

I'm expanding my blogging conversation by not always talking about my children. This seems to be the trendy thing to do and I love being trendy. I can't really afford it most of the time, but since this only requires creative thinking, I can manage it once a week or so.

The waves of electronic information are polluted with urban legends. If I printed all the flotsam and jetsam I've received from well-meaning do-gooders, I could fill up the public restroom in the park. So I love the website my brother, a really cool Metrodaddy, often refers his family to. You can look up any u.l. and find out if it's true or false. You can even look up other fun bits of culturally interesting information like
this or even this. Perhaps you'll even find something as empowering as this.

Of course who snoopes the snoopers? Well, if you doubt their abilities perhaps you'd prefer another site. This site even includes pictures.

So I'm curious. Look up an urban legend you've heard and attach the Snopers link in my comments. What have you heard? I can't be the only one swimming in myths. There's got to be a few others out there like me. Well, maybe there are. But anyway, let's debunk my world!
