Afterwards, while I was waiting to schedule my next appointment, the girls wandered off to watch people exercise.
On the way out The Princess bewildered, "Did you SEE those ladies? Oh my gosh what were they doing"
What do you mean?
"A bunch of ladies, who are a little younger than you, were doing this. . ." and she proceeded to gyrate in what I can only call The Karate Chicken Dance.
In that moment I learned three things in quick succession,
1. When did the general population of ladies become "a little younger" than me?
2. Has it been so long since I worked out that she doesn't recognize it for what it is?
and
3. I really do hate the YMCA, which answers number 2.
She finished gyrating and laughed, "What the heck were they doing?!?"
