It occurs to me every day that I love holding The Pearl.
She is three months old and there is something to cuddle I tell you.
A one month old is teeny, but not so cuddly.
A six month old is too wiggly.
The Pearl smells good too.
And she’s warm and soft and kind of chunky and it’s SOO satisfying.
She is my Bundle.
Other people like holding her too.
Yesterday it occurred to me that because she is so cuddly and she is so easy going, and she is easy enough to pass around, and she is not tied to her mama’s b-o-o-b; that she is a blessing to other mamas too.
Lots of mommies, whose babies have grown, get to love on her. And if you’re a mommy who doesn’t have anymore babies you know that your whole body sighs with happiness when you get to do it for a few minutes again.
Espeeeeecially with a cuddly one.
So, someday – like two years from now, and I am chasing around a bundle of energy – if you adopt and your baby is warm and chunky and smells good…will you share her with me?
