Do you ever just look at your kids and their little smiles and think, I could have, like, twenty more of you? Well, at least ten more of you.
The Pirate and The Pixie dragged a tall laundry basket outside and each had a bucket. They were collecting the rocks that line our driveway into their buckets and then dumping their buckets into the laundry basket. They'd been out there for at least 15 minutes working on it.
That's a lot of rocks in a laundry basket.
We walked out there and saw them. The Pixie's bucket was so heavy The Pirate had to help her lift it up to dump it in. The Pirate saw us looking at him and that laundry basket full of rocks which we, the adults, would have to redistribute along the driveway.
"Help me get the rocks!" he begged as he lost no time giving The Pixie her bucket and picking his back up. He was begging for help because, I suppose, filling that basket before dinner was important to them.

We came home uncharacteristically late. The moon lit up the dark blue sky. We were carrying the children into the house from the van. The Pixie looked at that big bright moon and said to Mr. Right, "I like the moon but the sun is my favorite because it's yellow."
Yellow is her favorite color. It fits her personality too.

They are the most wonderful thing in the world to me.
Right now, they are my world.
