Joining the ranks of other Pacific Northwest children, ours went back to school on September 4th.
Only, September 3rd was actually the first day of school.
But I was confused and wasn't paying close attention to the calendar.
So they missed the first day of school on the 3rd and made it the 4th instead.
And even with the extra day of summer they were still dragging their bodies around, cursing their 1st world education.
